Job Description:
The Associate Consultant supports the Lead Consultant by performing outreach, maintaining project data, assisting with events and training activities, and serving as the backup lead when necessary. The position focuses on day-to-day coordination and administrative support.
Key Duties:
- Conduct outreach to diverse businesses and promote program participation.
- Verify business certification status and maintain tracking records.
- Update and manage project spreadsheets and databases.
- Assist with vendor training sessions and networking events.
- Coordinate registrations, attendance, and meeting logistics.
- Support communications and outreach efforts.
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
- Serve as backup to the Lead Consultant during absences.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in outreach, administration, customer service, or community engagement.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and work independently.
