Seeking Photo Assistants

I’m looking for two photo assistants to provide technical and creative support for local shoots. My work centers on social change portraiture: using the camera as a tool of visibility, dignity, and liberation for marginalized communities.

This is not just about lights, lenses, and logistics. It’s about presence, perception, and the art of making people feel deeply seen.

Position Details

  • Compensation: $20/hr
  • Schedule: Most shoots take place Monday–Thursday mornings and some Saturdays.
  • Your Role: Support the creative process—help with equipment, notice what others might overlook, and help create an environment where each subject feels grounded, seen, and celebrated.
