About ToPa 3D

ToPa 3D is a reality-capture and Scan-to-BIM firm. We laser-scan real-world sites and turn that data into accurate, coordination-ready models for some of the biggest names in construction and industry — clients like Amazon, Rosendin Electric, and Fortis Construction. Our field crews capture the world in millimeters; our modeling team turns it into models people build from.

What You'll Do

• Build accurate Revit models from laser-scan point clouds (Scan-to-BIM) across architectural, structural, and MEP scopes.
• Own model quality — set up templates and standards, run QA/QC, and keep models clean, consistent, and coordinated.
• Coordinate BIM across disciplines: clash detection, model federation, and issue tracking in Navisworks / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC / BIM 360).
• Work hand-in-hand with our reality-capture crew, translating scan data and field conditions into reliable as-built and design models.
• Communicate with GCs, trades, and clients — in coordination meetings and in writing — to resolve conflicts before they hit the field.
• Mentor and help lead junior modelers as the team grows.

What You'll Bring

Required

• Solid, hands-on proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Either real BIM coordination experience (clash detection, model federation, working with trades/GCs) or team leadership experience (leading modelers, owning standards and QA/QC).
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and understand how building systems go together.
• Strong communication and a high-EQ, team-first attitude — you make the people around you better.
• Willingness to relocate to Eastern Wisconsin for the first 12 months.
• Authorized to work in the United States, and able to pass a background check.

Nice to Have

• Navisworks, ACC / BIM 360, Autodesk Recap, and point-cloud tools (e.g., CloudCompare).
• Prior Scan-to-BIM experience.
• MEP, structural, or industrial modeling background.
• Any reality-capture exposure (laser scanning, drone, 360) — we'll teach the rest.

Location & Relocation

This role requires relocating to Eastern Wisconsin for the first 12 months. We make the move easy with a $5,000 relocation bonus (half in advance, half within 30 days).
