Campus Ambassador - Indiana
The Campus App is looking for student ambassadors to help grow our brand at your local campus. The Campus App currently promotes more than 1,000 verified student discounts from national brands, and more than 70 professional sports franchises. All of these discounts are available for actively enrolled college students nationwide.
Now, we want to connect with all of the local businesses around your campus. The Campus App is the perfect platform for local businesses to connect with college students and showcase all of their student-related promotions (Student discounts, weekly/daily specials, new products and services, etc). To be on The Campus app, the merchant pays an annual fee of $250, which gets them unlimited promotions, unlimited job listings, and unlimited rental listings. The Campus App promotes our entire platform to every dorm room on each local campus, which significantly expands the reach for local businesses directly to college students at a fraction of the cost of traditional advertising.
What does this job entail? As a student ambassador, you would stop in to local businesses (Restaurants, clothing retailers, book stores, apartment and house rental services, etc.) and present the benefits of The Campus App and if they are interested, sign them up as a local merchant on our platform. You will be paid a base fee for stopping into local merchants (and checking in on our platform in each location) plus a commission for each merchant at your campus that signs up. Currently, we are paying $500 to stop in to 50 local merchants and commission starts at $100 for each merchant signed up, with additional bonuses for hitting different sign-up numbers.
We will provide you with postcard flyers to give to each merchant that highlights the benefits of The Campus App, and has a QR that directs them to our sign up page. We will also provide you with a list of merchants to target if you would like.
Requirements:
- Must be a student at a 4-year college or university
- Must be able to commute to local merchants
- Good communication skills
- Have the ability to visit local merchants in a timely fashion (We will be launching our local advertising during move-in week)
