About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and technically strong early-career professional with advanced Python skills and knowledge on machine learning projects and AI-focused internships (preferred) during undergraduate or master’s studies. The ideal candidate should be passionate about applying machine learning and agentic AI techniques to real-world problems, thrive in collaborative environments, and have the curiosity to explore new AI methods and tools.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design, build, deployment, and optimization of AI/GenAI/Agentic AI solutions for customers as well as internal TCS AI and Data business platforms.
  • Design, train, and optimize machine learning models for classification, regression, NLP, or computer vision tasks.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code for data preprocessing, model training, and deployment.
  • Work with large datasets: clean, transform, and analyze structured and unstructured data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data engineers, researchers, and product managers) to integrate AI/ML solutions into applications and workflows.
  • Conduct experiments, evaluate model performance, and present findings with clear metrics and visualizations.
  • Stay updated on emerging AI/ML and Agentic AI research and contribute innovative ideas to improve products and processes.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field.
  • Strong Python programming skills
  • Academic experience in machine learning, AI, or data-driven projects.
  • Understanding of algorithms, data structures, and machine learning concepts.
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and Jupyter/VS Code workflows.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with deep learning (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers) or natural language processing.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) or MLOps tools (Docker, MLflow, Kubernetes).
  • Contributions to open-source projects or published research in AI/ML.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
