Proposal Development Consultant.

Role

IdenGov is seeking experienced Proposal Development Consultants to support the preparation and submission of government contract proposals, including RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and RFXs. This is a remote, project-based freelance opportunity focused on proposal coordination, editing, compliance, and document management using structured templates and existing proposal content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret government solicitations (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, RFXs, and related procurement documents).
  • Prepare, edit, and organize proposal documents using company templates and existing content.
  • Ensure proposal responses comply with solicitation requirements and submission guidelines.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, prime contractors, and teaming partners.
  • Track proposal deadlines, required documents, and submission packages.
  • Maintain and update reusable proposal content, templates, and supporting documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in government proposal writing or proposal development.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, or local government contracting and procurement processes.
  • Strong writing, editing, and document management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on proposal compliance.
  • Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience responding to government RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, or RFXs.
  • Familiarity with SAM.gov, GovWin, eBuy, or other government procurement portals.
  • Experience in contract management, grant writing, project management, or IT consulting.
  • Knowledge of HUBZone, WOSB, or other small business contracting programs.
