School RN BSN – Tampa Metro Area | 2026–2027 School Year

Position Highlights:

  • Multiple openings in middle and high schools
  • Tampa metro area and surrounding communities
  • Start Date: August 10, 2026
  • 36.5 hours per week
  • Pay: $32/hour
  • Full-time roles require flexibility to float between school sites as needed

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to students in a school setting
  • Support physical, mental, and emotional health needs
  • Respond to medical emergencies and manage chronic conditions
  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers
  • Promote a safe and healthy learning environment

Qualifications:

  • Active Florida RN license
  • BSN  
  • School nurse certification if required by state or district
  • At least one year of school nursing, pediatric, or public health experience preferred
  • Current CPR and all compliance requirements

Minimum Requirements:  

 

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • School Nurse Certification as required by state or contract
  • One year of school nursing, public health or pediatric experience, preferred  
  • Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice  
  • Current CPR if applicable 
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable  
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)  
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements  
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
