Position Highlights:
- Multiple openings in middle and high schools
- Tampa metro area and surrounding communities
- Start Date: August 10, 2026
- 36.5 hours per week
- Pay: $32/hour
- Full-time roles require flexibility to float between school sites as needed
What You’ll Do:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to students in a school setting
- Support physical, mental, and emotional health needs
- Respond to medical emergencies and manage chronic conditions
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers
- Promote a safe and healthy learning environment
Qualifications:
- Active Florida RN license
- BSN
- School nurse certification if required by state or district
- At least one year of school nursing, pediatric, or public health experience preferred
- Current CPR and all compliance requirements

Minimum Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment
- Bachelor's Degree
- School Nurse Certification as required by state or contract
- One year of school nursing, public health or pediatric experience, preferred
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
