Inpatient Coder

Responsible for the complete, accurate and timely assignment of diagnostic and operative procedure codes and the assignment of the appropriate and optimal DRG / NY APR DRG’s for all patient medical records both concurrently and at the time of discharge.

Qualifications:

Must be accredited as CCS - Certified Coding Specialist, RHIT – Registered Health Information Technician or RHIA – Registered Health Information Administrator. Must maintain continued education credits and AHIMA membership. Preferably 3-5 years Inpatient Coding experience.

Salary - $23.36 - $31.64 per hour
