The State of Connecticut, Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), is now accepting applications for two (2) Maintainer positions.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
- Schedule: Part-Time (34 Hour), Tuesday-Friday, (6:00 A.M. - 1:30 P.M.) and Saturday, (6:00 A.M. - 12:30 P.M.)
- Locations: Wethersfield and Danbury
- Please Note: The Wethersfield vacancy is a floater, it will be based in Wethersfield but may be responsible for providing coverage at other branches as operational needs arise, including maintenance support when assigned.

THE ROLE:
As a Maintainer you will learn all aspects of DMV processes, from dealing with all types of license plates, forms, etc. The selected candidate will be responsible for custodial work as well as performing minor maintenance repairs, landscaping, and using a computer for inventory purposes.

At the DMV, we are dedicated to protecting the health and safety of the motoring public through education, outreach and enforcement in the areas of vehicle weight and safety inspections, heavy duty diesel emission testing, traffic enforcement and investigations of any motor vehicle related complaints.
