Junior Interior Designer - Custom Home Builder
Locations: Koreatown, Los Angeles OR Altadena, Los Angeles

- This position is 100% in the office 5 days a week, not hybrid or remote
- This position is an Interior Design role, not an Architectural Design position
Responsibilities:
- Help create and manage the full CD set (Schematics, Elevations, RCPs, and details/callouts)
- Manage vendors and provide them with drawing details and/or spec sheets to get shop drawings/quotes; send redlines
- Identify materials, fixtures and finishes that fit the aesthetic vision and project’s finish allowances
- Send spec sheets and floor plans to 3D renderer and perform initial redline checks
- Regular site visits to ensure construction matches design intent. Work on solutions for site-specific problems when design pivots are necessary
- Input all items and materials into Studio Designer with the corresponding technical specs for the field team
- Attend weekly client meetings, providing updates and collecting feedback; send email recaps
- Order material samples and create trade accounts
- Track all inventory and coordinate deliveries with the project PM and Superintendent
- Output item/cost reports from Studio Designer for the Director to cross reference
