Position Summary:
Pulse Cardiology, a Division of MHP, is seeking a dedicated and motivated Cardiac Stress Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with patients in a fast-paced clinical environment and is passionate about cardiovascular care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with cardiac stress testing procedures
- Set up and perform walking (treadmill) EKG/stress tests
- Monitor patients closely throughout testing to ensure safety and accuracy
- Record and document test results accurately
- Provide clear instructions and guidance to patients during procedures
- Maintain equipment and ensure proper cleanliness and functionality
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in stress testing or EKG preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in a patient-facing role
- Detail-oriented with a focus on patient safety and accurate measurements
- Ability to work well in a team environment
