Procurement Analyst 

Summit is hiring Procurement Analysts to support a variety of procurement and business operations functions. This role is well-suited for recent graduates and professionals at the beginning of their careers who want exposure to multiple areas of procurement in a consulting environment.

The Procurement Analyst role may involve procurement operations, tactical contracts management, sourcing support, accounts payable, and cross-functional project work. Summit provides hands-on training, supportive mentorship, and meaningful client experience for individuals who are curious, adaptable, and motivated to learn.

 

What You Might Do*

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting procurement operations such as purchase order creation, supplier onboarding, and data entry
  • Assisting with contract reviews, coordinating redlines, and maintaining contract repositories
  • Communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to gather information or resolve issues
  • Supporting accounts payable activities, including invoice validation, coding, and reconciliation
  • Maintaining accurate procurement records, databases, and reporting tools
  • Learning and using procurement, ERP, and workflow systems to support client processes
  • Participating in process improvement efforts and cross-functional project work

*Responsibilities will vary based on client needs and role assignments.

  • Are a recent college graduate or early career professional interested in procurement, supply chain, business operations, finance, or related fields
  • Are eager to learn and excited to receive on-the-job training across multiple procurement functions
  • Are comfortable learning new technology platforms and systems
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Are organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Are collaborative, coachable, and open to feedback
  • Enjoy client-facing work and helping solve problems
  • Thrive in a remote-first environment and are self-motivated
  • A background in business, supply chain, analytics, or a related field is helpful but not required.
