Content Writer

High Peaks Group advises mid-sized professional services firms on the structural work that lets a firm perform as one organization, and you'll own real work that reaches real clients. Nothing here is busywork.

Imagine putting this on your resume:

  • Built the content pipeline and case-study library for a professional services advisory firm.

What you'll do:

  • Take the founder's raw thinking, notes, and existing articles and shape them into clean drafts ready for his final edit.
  • Build and run an editorial calendar across the website and Substack so publishing happens on a rhythm.
  • Turn completed client engagements into written case studies the firm uses on its site and in proposals.

What you'll build:

  • A bank of 8 to 10 article and post drafts, plus the LinkedIn versions, moving HPG from sporadic to consistent publishing.
  • A published editorial calendar and a working Substack publishing system.
  • Two to three finished client case studies, including the Jay Peak and Gross McGinley engagements.

Skills you'll gain:

  • Write to a defined editorial standard and hold someone else's voice on the page.
  • Plan and run an editorial calendar across more than one channel.
  • Turn a complex engagement into a clear case study and the posts that carry it.
  • Edit your own writing to a publishable bar and meet a deadline you set.

You'll need to be:

A strong writer who reads carefully, can hold someone else's voice, and turn messy source material into something clear. HPG holds strict writing standards, and you'll learn to write to them. Preferred but not required: hands-on time with Substack, LinkedIn, or a CMS, and a feel for what makes a headline work.

Support & mentorship:

You'll report directly to the founder and meet weekly to review drafts, set the calendar, and get specific feedback on your writing. You'll sit in on real client conversations and close the ten weeks by presenting what you built and learned.
