Location: Hayward, CA (No remote work available) 

 

Compensation: $22.00 - $26.00/hour + $50 per month cell phone allowance + Benefits

As our Project / Office Coordinator, you won’t just be managing an office, you will work side-by-side with our Project Management team, learning the ins and outs of signage construction projects from initiation to completion. This role blends vital administrative operations with hands-on project tracking, giving you the real-world foundation needed to grow into a future Project Manager.

 

What You’ll Do (Your Day-to-Day)

You will split your talents between supporting project success and keeping our local office running smoothly:

Project Coordination: Assist Project Managers across all project phases, track installation progress using tools like PlanGrid, update data in Acumatica, issue purchase orders, and coordinate close-out documentation.

Vendor & Logistics Liaison: Coordinate shipping requests, handle vendor/customer inquiries, review invoices, and manage material samples.

Office Administration: Maintain an efficient, organized office environment by managing mail, purchasing office supplies, coordinating facility maintenance, and welcoming new team members.

 

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a self-driven team player with a positive attitude who is ready to learn.

 

Education/Experience: Associate degree OR 2+ years of experience in an administrative/office role.

 

Industry Interest: A general knowledge of or strong interest in the construction industry.

 

Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Experience with or ability to quickly learn project tracking software.

 

Core Strengths: Exceptional organization, strong attention to detail, excellent written/verbal communication, and solid problem-solving skills.

 

Requirements: A valid Class C driver's license with a satisfactory driving record (background check and pre-employment drug screen required).
