We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Arduino Programming Instructor to lead engaging after-school classes this fall. This enrichment program introduces students to the exciting world of programming, electronics, and physical computing through fun, project-based learning using Arduino microcontrollers.
Students will learn the fundamentals of coding, circuits, sensors, LEDs, motors, and electronic components while creating interactive projects that demonstrate how software and hardware work together. Through hands-on activities, they'll strengthen their problem-solving, logical thinking, creativity, and engineering skills in an engaging classroom environment.

What You'll Do
- Lead engaging, hands-on Arduino Programming classes in a fun and supportive learning environment
- Teach students the fundamentals of Arduino programming, electronics, and physical computing
- Guide students through coding projects involving LEDs, sensors, motors, buttons, and other electronic components
- Explain basic programming concepts, circuits, and engineering principles in an engaging, age-appropriate manner
- Encourage creativity, experimentation, collaboration, and critical thinking through project-based learning
- Help students troubleshoot coding and hardware challenges while building confidence in problem-solving
- Adapt instruction to support varying experience levels and learning styles
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive classroom where students are encouraged to explore and innovate
- Monitor student progress and provide positive feedback and encouragement
- Maintain classroom organization and ensure the safe use of electronic equipment and materials
- Communicate professionally with program coordinators and school staff
- Arrive prepared and ready to deliver an exceptional STEM learning experience
What We're Looking For
- Passion for programming, electronics, engineering, robotics, and STEM education
- Experience with Arduino, embedded systems, microcontrollers, electronics, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or Java is a plus
- Strong communication and classroom leadership skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, engaging, and student-friendly way
- Patient, organized, dependable, and professional attitude
- Comfortable leading hands-on technical projects and collaborative learning activities
- Prior teaching, tutoring, robotics, coding, camp, or youth program experience is a plus but not required
- Background in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics, Information Technology, Robotics, or related fields is highly encouraged
