FWS - Exhibit Maintenance Assistant

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to fill the position of part time Exhibit Maintenance Assistant.
Responsibilities:
This position reports to the Exhibit Maintenance & Fabrication Supervisor, and provides support for the activation, maintenance, and repair of our interactive exhibits and museum fixtures. Responsibilities include photographing and cataloging stored items, along with updating inventory records; maintaining organization and cleanliness of workshop and storage areas; assisting with the reorganization of workspaces, storage systems, and equipment layouts to improve workflow and efficiency; handling items with care and attention to detail, helping to ensure proper documentation and safe storage; and supporting general upkeep and maintenance of spaces as needed.
Qualifications:
Desirable candidates will possess excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while following directions. A willingness to learn, a positive attitude, and a demonstrated strong work ethic are essential. Candidates should be reliable, punctual, and comfortable with physical tasks such as light lifting, organizing, and moving items.
Additional Qualifications:
Experience in a museum, entertainment/events or workshop environment is a plus.
Hours:
Hours are available between 9:00AM and 5:30PM with the flexiblity to accommodate the student's needs.

- This is a Federal Work-Study funded position and pays $15.00 per hour with an estimated 1 hours/week.
