Position Overview
The Inside Sales & Customer Support Coordinator is responsible for managing incoming customer inquiries, tracking open quotes, completing follow-ups, and supporting daily office operations. This role is the communication hub of the company—answering phones, greeting walk‑in customers, and ensuring every customer receives fast, professional service. The position also includes entering sales into our system, ringing up material purchases, and assisting the sales team with administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Quote Tracking — Monitor all open quotes, update statuses, and ensure no customer falls through the cracks.
- Customer Follow‑Ups — Call, email, and text customers to check on pending quotes and move them toward a decision.
- Phone Management — Answer incoming calls, provide basic information, and transfer callers to the correct department.
- Front Desk Greeting — Welcome customers who visit our location and direct them to the appropriate team member.
- Sales Entry — Enter sales into the computer accurately and efficiently.
- Point‑of‑Sale Support — Ring up customers purchasing materials and ensure smooth checkout.
- Email Communication — Send clear, professional emails to customers and vendors.
- Office Coordination — Assist with daily office tasks, filing, scheduling, and supporting the sales team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Microsoft Office Proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
- Comfortable speaking with customers on the phone and in person
- Reliable, organized, and detail‑oriented
- Prior customer service or office experience preferred
- Experience in construction, fencing, or home services is a plus but not required
