Role Description:

Metanex America is looking for a highly motivated, technically savvy college intern to join our team part-time (20 hours per week). This is a rare opportunity for a college senior to gain hands-on experience in the market and startup research that drives our investment, partnership, and corporate-strategy decisions. You will work side by side with experienced investors and operators, playing a key role in the success of high-growth startups and Metanet’s broader strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research and industry analysis to identify emerging trends, investment opportunities, and potential partnerships using our internally developed multi-agent research tool
• Generate, edit, and distribute the “Weekly Strategic Sensing” report to senior executives within Metanet using our multi-agent research tool
• Perform due diligence on potential investments, including financial modeling, competitive analysis, and business model evaluation
• Assist in sourcing new investment and alliance opportunities through networking, industry events, and direct outreach
• Contribute to internal strategic planning by preparing industry landscapes, strategic briefings, and opportunity assessments for “Monthly Innovation Forum”, a technology briefing for senior executives within Metanet

• Maintain the multi-agent research tool and implement enhancements as needed to support additional research requests

Qualifications:

• College senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
• Familiarity with Claude Code and multi-agent setups in Claude Code 
• Skilled in leveraging AI-powered deep research tools (Claude, ChatGPT, and Google Gemini) with hands-on experience in prompt engineering 
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• A proactive self-starter with a passion for startups, technology, and strategy
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and globally connected environment
• Must be able to deliver research reports on time
