Pre-Kindergarten Teacher & Teacher Assistants

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Pre-Kindergarten Teacher and Teacher Assistant's to inspire and nurture young learners in their early childhood education journey. (We are hiring 1 lead pre-k teacher and 3 TA's. New assistant's will be paired with a seasoned Lead Teacher. We are in need of 1 TA in our Kindergarten classroom and 2 TA's for our 3yr old classrooms)

Responsibilities

  • Teachers will develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum-based lesson plans each week that align with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, science/stem, art, motor skills and more. Assistant Teachers are expected to support the lead teacher in this role.
  • Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among preschool children.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques to maintain a safe and respectful learning space.
  • Conduct assessments to monitor each child's development in areas such as language, motor skills, and cognitive abilities; utilize results to tailor instruction.
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate progress, address concerns, and support children’s welfare both academically and emotionally.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with young children in a preschool setting; classroom management skills are essential. (At least 1 year experience as Lead Teacher)
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention techniques, and behavior management strategies.
  • Experience with faith- based curriculum and private school/facility. (preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents and colleagues.
  • Certification or coursework in early childhood education or related fields.
  • Ability to implement lesson planning effectively while maintaining a nurturing environment.
  • Pediatric CPR & First Aid (Suggested).
  • Demonstrate exceptional professional conduct and consideration for the safety and welfare of the children.
  • Satisfy the mandatory background checks.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
  • Be of sufficient physical, mental and emotional health to perform job duties satisfactorily.
  • Be of good character and reputation.

Teachers will work Monday- Thursday 8:30-1:30 (20hrs/week) salary: $16/hr

and

Assistants: Monday - Thursday 8:45- 1pm. (17hrs/week) salary: $13.75/hr

Phone interviews to begin at the end of June. In person interviews will be scheduled for July. Start date 8/24/26.
