Job Title: Videographer & Video Editor – Music Video Production (Short-Term Project)
Company: Adam Benji Records LLC
Location: Manhattan, NY (On-Site at Steps on Broadway, 74th St)
Job Type: Part-Time / Short-Term Contract
Duration: 1-Day Shoot (3-Hour Session) + Post-Production Editing
Compensation: $600 Flat Project Fee
We are seeking a student or junior Videographer & Video Editor to shoot and edit the official music video for an upcoming single, "My Guy"—a sweeping piano-and-strings pop ballad releasing next month.
The visual concept is minimalist, elegant, and authentic. The video features a single performer executing a contemporary ballet routine and synchronized lip-syncing captures. The studio will feature a pre-configured, custom purple ambient lighting environment.
Filming Location: Steps on Broadway (74th Street, Manhattan)
Production Window: Strict 3-Hour Studio Rental
Key Responsibilities
On-Site Filming: Handle all tracking, lens stability, and framing within the 3-hour studio window. Capture continuous ballet sequences and tight, emotional lip-sync takes utilizing the in-studio purple lighting setup.
Post-Production: Cut, sync, and color-enhance raw footage seamlessly to the official studio master audio track.
Deliverables: One high-resolution master cut optimized for YouTube, plus 2–3 vertical micro-edits for social media loops (TikTok, Instagram Reels, Shorts).
Technical Requirements
Camera Movement: Must provide your own professional camera (4K preferred) and stabilizing equipment (gimbal or fluid-head tripod) to smoothly track quick ballet rotations, extensions, and choreography lines.
Color Enhancement: Ability to work with and enhance the pre-existing purple lighting environment in post-production while ensuring natural, clean skin tones.
Pacing: Editing must match the exact emotional and rhythmic pacing of the piano chords and orchestral string swells.
Qualifications
Current student or recent alumnus in Film, Television, Video Production, or related disciplines (NYU Tisch, Juilliard, Columbia highly preferred).
Strong digital reel or portfolio demonstrating precision in camera movement and rhythmic editing.
Experience capturing dance, athletic routines, or physical movement is a massive plus.
Highly punctual and organized to execute a crisp workflow under a tight studio clock.
