Part-Time Morning Lead Preschool Teacher
The Lead 3-Year-Olds Preschool Teacher is responsible for creating a warm, safe, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment where children can grow socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and leading age-appropriate lessons and activities
- Supervising children throughout the school day
- Supporting children’s social-emotional growth
- Communicating with families in a professional and caring way
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe classroom
- Working collaboratively with the Preschool Director and other staff
Qualifications include a B.S./B.A. from an accredited college or university, 90-hour Early Childhood Certification, two years of experience working with preschool-age children, and current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
Starting pay is $23.00/hour, with additional compensation for further education and/or experience. The position is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Benefits include ten days of personal leave. After two years of service, a pension plan is available. The position is August-May with a yearly contract.
Employment is contingent upon all required MSDE/OCC clearances, fingerprinting, and background checks.
