Homeroom & Subject Teachers (K-12) - 2026-27
Requirements
- Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (as applicable)
- Minimum Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree (required); Teaching credential (preferred).
- Experience: Prior teaching experience with school-aged students (preferred; required if applicable).
- Professional Skills: Strong classroom management and student-centered instruction, Clear written and verbal communication,, Ability to collaborate with colleagues, administration, and families, Basic technology proficiency (Google Workspace, learning platforms, SIS/LMS tools)
- Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have): Credential/Certification: Valid teaching credential/certification (California credential preferred if in CA)
- Subject Expertise: Demonstrated content knowledge for the grade/subject area (e.g., ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies, Islamic Studies, Arabic, PE, etc.).
- Experience With: Differentiated instruction and interventions, ESL/ELL strategies, and inclusive education practices, Project-based learning, inquiry-based instruction, or data-driven teaching.
- Core Competencies & Expectations: Ability to plan and deliver standards-aligned lessons with measurable objectives, Commitment to student safety, wellbeing, and positive culture, Timely completion of grading, assessments, lesson plans, and reports, Consistent family communication and professional responsiveness, Uphold school policies, confidentiality, and professional conduct standards.
