Who We Are
Family Care Dental is an Urgent Care Dental Clinic serving the greater Birmingham area. We’re a fast-growing practice that values both high-quality patient care and a strong, accountable team culture. As we continue to grow, our HR and administrative team plays a key role in keeping everything running smoothly—and we’re looking to bring on someone who wants to learn and grow with us.
The Role
You’ll work directly with our admin team and get hands-on experience with real HR responsibilities in a healthcare setting.
You’ll learn how to support both the business side of the clinic and the people who make it run.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting with onboarding new team members and setting them up for success on their first day.
- Supporting hiring efforts (job postings, resume review, interview coordination)
- Helping ensure patient care processes align with federal and state regulations
- Tracking and maintaining employee certifications in accordance with Alabama Dental Board
- Keeping HR documents and employee records organized and up to date
- Supporting day-to-day administrative and HR tasks as needed
- Getting exposure to how a growing clinic handles real-world HR situations

- Willingness to take ownership of tasks and projects
- Professional, but still personable and easy to work with
- Ability to handle sensitive information responsibly
Requirements / Preferences
- Experience is a plus, but not required
- Interest in Human Resources, or healthcare management
