Do you have a passion for dance, fitness, and inspiring children to stay active?

 

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Dance Fitness Instructor to lead engaging after-school classes this fall. This program combines music, movement, and fitness to create a fun and supportive environment where students can build confidence, improve coordination, and develop lifelong healthy habits.

 

Through upbeat dance routines, interactive movement games, stretching, and fitness activities, students will strengthen their balance, flexibility, rhythm, and teamwork while discovering the joy of staying active.

 

Whether you're a dance instructor, fitness coach, performer, physical education professional, or someone who loves working with children, this is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact through movement and wellness.

 

Curriculum guidance and program support are provided, allowing you to focus on creating an engaging, high-energy classroom experience.

 

What You'll Do

  • Lead energetic and engaging Dance Fitness classes in a fun, safe, and supportive environment
  • Teach age-appropriate dance movements, stretching, coordination exercises, and fitness activities
  • Incorporate music, movement games, and creative exercises to keep students excited and engaged
  • Encourage physical activity, confidence, teamwork, and positive self-expression
  • Help students improve coordination, balance, flexibility, rhythm, and overall fitness
  • Adapt activities to accommodate different abilities and learning styles
  • Foster an inclusive classroom where every student feels welcome and encouraged
  • Monitor student participation and provide positive reinforcement and constructive feedback
  • Maintain classroom organization and ensure student safety during physical activities
  • Communicate professionally with program coordinators and school staff
  • Arrive prepared and ready to deliver an exceptional learning experience

 

What We're Looking For

  • Passion for dance, fitness, movement, and youth development
  • Experience in dance instruction, fitness coaching, physical education, cheer, gymnastics, performing arts, or related fields
  • Strong communication and classroom leadership skills
  • Energetic, dependable, patient, and professional attitude
  • Ability to motivate students through engaging and interactive activities
  • Comfortable leading group fitness and movement-based classes
  • Prior teaching, coaching, recreation, camp, or youth program experience is a plus but not required
  • Background in Dance, Kinesiology, Physical Education, Fitness, Performing Arts, or related fields is highly encouraged
