Compensation
Full-Time AmeriCorps Term
August 2026 – August 2027 (1700-hour service term)
- $21,415 total living allowance

Schedule
- Approximately 37.5 hours per week
- Monday–Friday, daytime hours
- Occasional evenings or weekends depending on community events or programming needs
Job Training Includes Experience In:

Primary Responsibilities
- Welcome community members and provide trauma-informed support
- Share information about YWCA programs and available community resources
- Assist individuals in identifying appropriate services and referrals
- Support development and updates of resource guides and informational materials
- Assist with community outreach events and engagement activities
- Support distribution of educational materials to community members
- Strengthen connections between community members and available services
- Assist staff with data collection related to outreach and engagement
- Support volunteer engagement during community events and programming
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass required National Service Criminal History Checks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact respectfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Interest in human services, outreach, or community support work
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills (email, data entry, online systems)
- Reliable transportation
Preferred Experience
- Experience volunteering or working with the public
- Interest in social services, advocacy, or community resource systems
- Familiarity with community-based organizations or nonprofit environments
