Position Summary:
The Division of Student Life is accepting applications for the Stress Management Specialist within the Health Promotion department. In this role, you will be part of a team that will implement a comprehensive multi-modal stress management program serving University at Buffalo student population.
General areas of responsibility include:
- Coordination of Wellness Coaching program
- One-on-one consultations with students
- Assist with planning and implementation of other stress management programs and services

Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience or Bachelor’s degree
- Degree in a health-related discipline such as health education, health promotion, public health, social work, psychology or closely related field
- Experience working with college-age student population
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, project management and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in field related to health behavior, health communications, social work or counseling
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively, both independently and collaboratively, in a multidisciplinary environment
- Certification in nationally recognized coaching program or will achieve certification within one year of hire
