Admixture Technician I

1. Fills physician orders or stock requisitions accurately.

2. Preparation of intravenous admixtures (including but not limited to, chemotherapy and biologics) using

aseptic technique and safe handling for hazardous drugs.

3. Replenishes medications accurately.

4. Rotates stock to ensure use before expiration date.

5. Attends pharmacy staff meetings and reads pertinent email communication.

6. Participates in orientation, education, and training programs. Reviews literature and other materials as

assigned.

7. Completes all competence/skills assessment requirements.

8. Maintains patient and department/hospital confidentiality.

9. Maintain Technician Registration.

10. Generates reports as required.
