Program Management Intern

Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented college junior or senior to join our Program Management Excellence (PMX) team. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting initiatives that drive program management excellence across the organization.

The intern will work alongside experienced program management professionals and contribute to a variety of strategic and operational initiatives, including process improvement, automation, training development, reporting, and project support activities. This role is ideal for a candidate who enjoys problem-solving, collaboration, and creating solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness.

The PMX Intern will report directly to the PMX Lead.
 

Job Responsibilities:

- Support PMX initiatives focused on improving program and project management processes, tools, and standards
- Develop and maintain training materials, job aids, and training packets for PMX processes and tools
- Assist with writing scripts, macros, and automation solutions to improve reporting and operational efficiency
- Support project tracking activities, status reporting, and dashboard updates
- Assist in documenting processes, procedures, and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and support ongoing initiatives
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and continuous improvement activities
- May be asked to conduct research and analysis to support PMX projects and strategic initiatives
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the PMX team as needed 

Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Interest in program management, process improvement, data analysis, or operational excellence
- Experience with scripting, macros, or automation tools, is preferred
- Exposure to collaboration and workflow tools such as SharePoint, Power Automate, or similar technologies is preferred

-Ability to devote 18 to 20 hours per week for Internship
