About the role

The Artist Management Intern will support artist-relations, booking, communication, administrative, and promotional coordination. This role is designed for an entry-level candidate who wants practical exposure to artist management and the day-to-day work required to support artists, managers, and music-industry partners.

Artist management work depends on trust, responsiveness, and clear communication. The intern will help the team keep information organized, route updates, track follow-ups, and support a positive working relationship between artists, managers, and industry contacts.

Why this role matters

Artist managers help maintain strong communication between artists and the companies, venues, labels, brands, and organizations they work with. This internship gives candidates a supervised, entry-level view into how artist-facing work is coordinated behind the scenes.

What you'll do

  • Support communication between artists, managers, music-industry contacts, and internal team members.
  • Help track artist-relations follow-ups, questions, and potential concerns so they can be addressed promptly by the appropriate team member.
  • Assist with administrative paperwork, records, and contract-related tracking under supervision.
  • Help schedule meetings, promotional activities, performance-related events, launch events, book events, and other artist-support activities.
  • Support outreach to music-industry contacts, including executives, A&R representatives, managers, booking contacts, vendors, and event partners.
  • Assist with social media coordination, marketing, publicity, and promotional documentation as assigned.
  • Help process or track ticket requests, guest lists, travel details, event details, and other logistics connected to artist representation.
  • Maintain organized notes, calendars, documents, and task lists so artist-management work stays clear and up to date.
  • Participate in remote and/or office-based administrative work depending on the team's schedule and internship assignments.
