Remote Translator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Remote Translator to convert written content from one language to another accurately and culturally appropriately. The ideal candidate will have excellent language skills, cultural awareness, and the ability to deliver high-quality translations within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Translate documents, articles, websites, and other content from source language to target language
Ensure translations are accurate, clear, and culturally appropriate
Proofread and edit translated materials for quality and consistency
Maintain terminology consistency throughout projects
Collaborate with clients or project managers to clarify context and requirements
Manage multiple translation projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information.

Qualifications:

Fluency in at least two languages (native or near-native proficiency)
Proven experience as a translator or in a similar role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong understanding of grammatical rules and language nuances
Proficiency in translation tools and software (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ)
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Preferred Skills:

Specialization in specific fields (e.g., legal, medical, technical, business)
Certification from a recognized translation association (e.g., ATA, ITI)
Experience with localization and cultural adaptation.
