Transcriptionist

We are seeking a meticulous and reliable Transcriptionist to convert audio and video recordings into accurate written documents. The ideal candidate will have excellent listening skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to produce high-quality transcriptions in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Listen to audio and video recordings and transcribe spoken content accurately
Ensure transcriptions are free of errors, typos, and grammatical mistakes
Format transcripts according to specified guidelines
Review transcripts for quality and accuracy before submission
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Meet deadlines consistently while maintaining high standards of quality
Collaborate with team members or clients for clarification when needed.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a transcriptionist or in a similar role
Excellent listening and comprehension skills
Strong command of grammar, punctuation, and spelling
Proficiency in transcription software and general computer skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with medical, legal, or technical transcription (if applicable)
Knowledge of transcription tools (e.g., Express Scribe, Otter.ai)
Multilingual abilities (a plus).
