Restoration Laborer

Labor position with an architecture and public art restoration firm.

We are looking for people to join our team either seasonally or longer term, who enjoy a job that is less traditional. You'll be working at a woman-owned small business that is more than 50% female crew, open to all genders, ages, sexual orientation, race, etc. We are LGBTQ+ friendly and we prioritize a culture of inclusiveness. We use sustainable techniques and practices to do several kinds of Architectural and Art/Design restoration. This is a great opportunity for you to get a hands-on experience in a shop, studio, and on-site work environment with an inclusive team that promotes problem solving, sustainability and creativity. Specifically we are looking for people that

- Are passionate about doing hands-on, unique work that you can take pride in while being a part of a small team.

The job has hands on experience/training with:

  • Window and Door Restoration
  • Carpentry Restoration/Fabrication/Refinishing
  • Glasswork/ Stained Glasswork
  • Metalwork
  • Plaster and Tilework
  • Decorative painting
  • On Site Construction work/Timeline management
  • Public Art maintenance/repairs

Applicant must be comfortable working on-site, outside in various weather conditions, and be willing to work out of town on occasion. Must also have the ability to lift 40lbs and wear a respirator mask/PPE for long periods of time, when required.

Employees earn holiday pay and are off for most US holidays.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour - 90 Day increase once basic skills training is completed.
