The Role
We're looking for a highly organized, relationship-driven Podcast Producer to take ownership of an established B2B technology podcast and help elevate it to the next level. This role is ideal for someone who loves meeting interesting people and building relationships with industry leaders
You'll help identify compelling guests, develop relevant conversation topics, and stay informed about emerging trends across cybersecurity, software development, AI, and enterprise technology. You'll manage research, episode production, social content strategy, and ongoing podcast operations while working closely with our team to grow audience engagement and industry impact.
This podcast serves a highly technical audience of cybersecurity professionals, software security leaders, researchers, and technology executives. While you do not need to be an expert on day one, you should be genuinely interested in technology and willing to learn quickly about the topics shaping the industry.
The ideal candidate is naturally curious, proactive, creative, and excited by the opportunity to regularly interact with senior technology executives and thought leaders.
What You'll Do

Own the day-to-day management of an existing podcast from booking through publication.
Responsibilities include:

Help shape the future direction of the podcast.
Responsibilities include:
- Researching industry trends, emerging topics, and relevant news. Identifying high-value guests and conversation opportunities.
- Developing episode concepts and interview angles. Helping create a more cohesive content strategy across podcast themes
- Bringing fresh ideas that improve audience engagement and thought leadership positioning.
20% Social Content & Promotion
Help maximize the impact of every episode.
Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing episodes and identifying strong clip opportunities. Collaborating with editors on short-form content
- Developing hooks and social content ideas that drive engagement. Supporting podcast promotion across LinkedIn and other channels
- Looking for creative ways to extend the reach of podcast conversations
Who You Are
- Interested in technology, cybersecurity, software development, AI, and emerging digital threats
- Comfortable researching technical topics and translating them into engaging podcast conversations
- Excited by the opportunity to regularly speak with cybersecurity leaders, researchers, founders, and technology executives
- Able to quickly learn new concepts and industry terminology. Exceptionally organized and reliable
- Comfortable managing multiple moving pieces and deadlines. A strong communicator who enjoys building relationships and able to work independently and take ownership of projects
- Open to learning new systems and workflows
- Comfortable representing both the podcast and company professionally
Success Looks Like
The primary goal of this engagement is to build upon the podcast's existing success while making production smoother, more strategic, and more impactful.
Success in this role means:
- Creating a seamless production experience for both the client and guests
- Managing scheduling, communication, and episode workflows with minimal oversight
- Maintaining a high-quality guest experience from outreach through publication
- Bringing fresh ideas for guests, topics, and content opportunities
- Helping better connect conversations around malware, threat intelligence, and software supply chain security to showcase the full breadth of the client's expertise
- Developing a more cohesive content strategy rather than treating key subject areas as separate tracks
- Consistently identifying opportunities to improve audience engagement and podcast growth
- Producing strong social content that extends the reach of each episode
- Delivering high-quality work efficiently and meeting deadlines consistently
This role begins as a 4-month engagement. If the client sees strong execution, audience growth, operational improvements, there is significant potential for the role to evolve into a longer-term partnership beyond the initial contract period.
If you're excited about meaningful conversations, smart people, emerging technology, and building a podcast that industry leaders genuinely want to be part of, we'd love to hear from you.
