THE POSITION

The State of Connecticut, Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS),  is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Behavioral Health Unit Supervisor.

  • LOCATION: 135 Holmes Drive, Middletown, CT
  • SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

THE ROLE:

 

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of a 15-bed geriatric psychiatric unit serving patients with severe and persistent mental illness who require highly specialized inpatient treatment. 
  • Provide administrative and clinical oversight to a multidisciplinary treatment team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, coordinated care while supporting staff development, addressing complex clinical and operational challenges, and maintaining a safe, structured therapeutic environment.
