The ROLE
We're looking for a Creative Strategist who lives and breathes short-form content. You'll be the connective tissue between brand goals and creator execution — developing concepts, writing briefs, and shaping the creative direction that makes our clients' content perform.
This isn't a strategy-in-a-deck role. You'll be in the weeds: analyzing what's working on TikTok right now, identifying trends before they peak, and translating that into clear creative direction creators can actually run with.
THE DAY TO DAY
- Develop creative strategy and content concepts for active client campaigns across TikTok and Instagram
- Write sharp, specific creator briefs — hooks, angles, formats, talking points — that drive results without killing authenticity
- Stay ahead of platform trends, sounds, and formats and translate them into actionable direction for clients and creators
- Analyze content performance and iterate on strategy based on what the data is actually telling you
- Collaborate closely with creator managers to ensure briefs are executable and align with creator voice
- Join client calls to present strategy, gather feedback, and build trust with brand partners
- Develop content frameworks and repeatable playbooks across verticals (wellness, consumer apps, lifestyle, etc.)
REQUIREMENtS
- 0-3 years in creator marketing, social strategy, or content at a brand, agency, or as a creator yourself
- Deep fluency in TikTok — you understand why things go viral and can reverse-engineer it
- Strong writing skills: you can write a brief that's specific, clear, and actually fun to execute
- You think in hooks, not headlines — you know the difference between content that sounds good and content that performs
- Comfortable owning a client relationship and communicating strategy with confidence
- Experience with performance analysis — you know how to read a dashboard and turn it into a next move
- Highly organized and self-directed; you thrive without a lot of hand-holding
Nice to have
- Experience in consumer wellness, lifestyle, or app verticals
- You've made content yourself — even casually
- Familiarity with creator sourcing, vetting, or management workflows
NYC-based compensation is $55-65K/year
