Biomedical Equipment Support Technician – Installation Project (Hagerstown, MD)

We are currently staffing an immediate, short-term installation support engagement for a critical Maternal Infant Care (MIC) infrastructure project in Hagerstown, MD
Project Dates: Jun 2026 (Approximately 5–7 days, including weekend/weekday coordination)
Schedule: High-impact window, approximately 40–50 hours total
Location: Hagerstown, MD
We welcome entry-level BMETs, semi-skilled technical professionals, graduate electrical/mechanical engineers, and clinically experienced technicians looking for hands-on hospital field experience.
Role Overview
Technicians will act as apprentices, working under the direct supervision of a Lead Field Service Engineer (FSE) in a NICU clinical environment. Responsibilities include:
- Equipment Staging & Assembly: Unboxing, positioning units, mechanical assembly, and hardware subsystem integration.
- Technical Support: Managing power connections, routing cables safely, and securely mounting device accessories.
- Verification & Documentation: Assisting the Lead FSE with functional verification testing and completing mandatory deployment checklists.
- Clinical Purpose: This project deploys life-saving neonatal technology including GE Giraffe Omnibeds (specialized micro-environment incubators) and GE Panda Warmers (advanced open infant warmers for immediate resuscitation and care).
Note: This project involves structured installation support tasks. The required 8 hours of online OEM installation training will be fully provided and triggered before deployment.
