Event Venue Assistant
Job Title: Events Assistant Reporting to: Events Manager
Job Purpose
The primarypurpose of this role is to supportthe Events Managerin developing and delivering our growing events program, carrying out a wide range of tasks.
Scope
- Events bookings, management, planning and marketing
- Developing the events wedding services
- Venue/Décor Set-up and breakdown
- Team Work
Key Tasks
- Assist the Events Manager in planning, coordinating, marketing and delivering the events , managing and undertaking the associated booking and administrative tasks
- Promote the venue for use as an event venue managing and undertaking the associated booking and administrative tasks.
- Show perspective clients around the venue on viewings
- Assist the events manager in setting up and breaking down events.
- Clean the facility before and after events.
- Be willing to undertake other tasks commensurate with the post.
- Be willing to learn how to put together centerpieces, make balloon arches, and construct backdrops.
- Be able to lift up to 40lbs.
- Be able to climb a ladder.
