Job Title: Behavior Technician (BT)

Position Type: Part-Time

Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and motivated individuals who are interested in starting a career in ABA. This position is designed for college students and early-career applicants who want to join our team, receive training, and grow into the role of a Behavior Technician. Team members will support children with autism and related developmental needs under the supervision of a BCBA while developing the skills needed to become a successful BT.

Roadmap to Become a BT:

Join our team in a trainee or support role.

Complete onboarding and required training.

Learn ABA basics, client support skills, and data collection procedures.

Shadow experienced staff and participate in supervised sessions.

Demonstrate readiness to begin direct client support as a Behavior Technician.

Continue skill development through ongoing supervision and feedback.bacb+1

Key Responsibilities:

Support children in clinic, home, or community settings.

Assist with implementation of individualized treatment plans.

Collect data and document client progress accurately.

Help promote communication, social, play, and daily living skills.

Maintain a safe, positive, and structured environment.

Communicate professionally with supervisors and families as directed.

Attend training, supervision, and team meetings.

Provide light administrative or operational support related to clinic growth and daily workflow as needed.

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in college or recently completed coursework in psychology, education, behavior analysis, or a related field preferred.

Strong interest in working with children and learning ABA.

Dependable, professional, and eager to learn.

Good communication skills and willingness to receive coaching.

Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.

Must pass background screening and meet applicable state requirements.

Preferred:

Experience working with children, tutoring, volunteering, babysitting, or supporting individuals with special needs.

Interest in pursuing RBT certification or long-term ABA career growth.

Schedule & Compensation:

Part-time hours with flexible scheduling.

Afternoon, evening, and/or weekend availability preferred.

Competitive hourly pay.
