Job Description:
The Event Management Intern will work closely with the Event Services Team to support a wide range of events from early planning through advancement to on-site execution and post-event follow-up. This intern will assist with notetaking during meetings event organization, guest services and front-of-house operations, walk-throughs and much more.
The intern in this role will offer hands-on experience in venue operations, event administration, client service, hospitality, and live event coordination at the Long Center. Interns will have the opportunity to support events of many different sizes and styles, including but not limited to board meetings, weddings, concerts, film screenings, receptions, press events, community gatherings and other both private and public events.
