Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research on international trade regulations (WTO rules, export/import laws, sanctions, tariffs, trade agreements, FTAs).
   
• Assist in drafting and reviewing cross-border commercial contracts (distribution, licensing, joint ventures, supply agreements).
   
• Prepare summaries on jurisdiction-specific compliance requirements for global operations.
   
• Support attorneys in risk assessments related to foreign investments and market entry.
   
• Draft legal memos on cross-border dispute resolution (arbitration, mediation, enforcement of foreign awards).
   
• Monitor sanctions, trade restrictions, and global regulatory updates.
   

Requirements:

• Pursuing a law degree (LLB / JD / LLM).
   
• Strong research skills and interest in international business.
   
• Familiarity with international trade frameworks preferred.
   
• Ability to work with multi-jurisdictional laws and cross-cultural contexts.

Important notes

Our internship compensation structure depends on the duration of the program.
For in-person internships lasting less than three months, the focus is primarily on professional learning and hands-on experience. As such, compensation is not guaranteed for these shorter placements.

For internships exceeding three months, a monthly allowance is provided starting from the first month. The amount typically ranges between 300 and 500 USD per month, depending on the role and time commitment.

For on-site internships in China, we offer the necessary supporting documents and guidance to help students apply for the appropriate internship visa. However, applicants are responsible for ensuring they meet all relevant visa requirements.
