Pay Rate: $25–$35/hour (based on experience)

Do you love dance, fitness, and inspiring young learners through movement?

 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Dance Fitness Instructor to lead engaging classes this fall. This program combines movement, music, fitness, and creativity to help students develop coordination, confidence, body awareness, and healthy habits in a fun and supportive environment.

 

Students will participate in age-appropriate dance routines, fitness activities, movement games, and creative exercises designed to promote physical activity while encouraging self-expression and teamwork.

 

Whether you're a dance instructor, fitness coach, performer, educator, or someone passionate about working with children, this is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact through movement and wellness.

 

Curriculum guidance and program support are provided, allowing you to focus on creating an exciting and memorable experience for students.

 

What You'll Do

  • Lead engaging dance fitness classes in a fun, positive, and supportive environment
  • Teach age-appropriate dance movements, fitness exercises, stretching, and coordination activities
  • Create high-energy lessons that encourage participation and physical activity
  • Incorporate music, movement games, and creative exercises to keep students engaged
  • Promote confidence, self-expression, teamwork, and healthy lifestyle habits
  • Adapt activities to accommodate different skill levels and abilities
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment
  • Monitor student participation and provide positive reinforcement and encouragement
  • Maintain classroom organization and ensure student safety during physical activities
  • Communicate professionally with program coordinators and school staff
  • Arrive prepared and ready to deliver an engaging class experience

 

What We're Looking For

  • Passion for dance, fitness, movement, and youth development
  • Experience in dance, fitness instruction, physical education, cheer, gymnastics, performing arts, or related fields
  • Strong communication and classroom leadership skills
  • Energetic, positive, patient, and professional attitude
  • Ability to motivate students and create a welcoming environment
  • Comfortable leading group activities and physical movement exercises
  • Prior teaching, coaching, camp, recreation, or youth program experience is a plus but not required
  • Background in Dance, Physical Education, Kinesiology, Fitness, Performing Arts, or related fields is highly encouraged
