Infant Toddler Educator
Lightkeepers International LLC is seeking a multi-talented early childhood educator (or a small team of educators) to provide engaging enrichment classes for infants and young toddlers at our school and community sites. We are developing offerings for children ages 3–12 months and 1–2 years, and we are looking for warm, creative teachers who understand developmentally appropriate practice for these age groups.
We are especially interested in educators who can offer one or more of the following:
- Sound therapy or gentle, sensory-based sound experiences for infants and caregivers
- Baby yoga or movement classes that focus on bonding, gentle stretches, and simple poses with caregivers actively involved
- Music classes with live instruments (e.g., guitar, ukulele, keyboard, percussion) that invite children and caregivers to sing, move, and explore rhythm together
- Puppet shows or interactive puppet classes with simple stories, songs, and opportunities for participation
- Zumbini or similar music-and-movement programs tailored to infants and toddlers
- Singing and Spanish-learning classes that weave in simple vocabulary, songs, and play-based language exposure
- Baby sensory or movement-based programs that explore textures, lights, sounds, and safe gross-motor play for early development
We are also very open to other creative, developmentally appropriate ideas for ages 3–24 months, such as caregiver–baby bonding classes, infant art/sensory play, or gentle storytime-and-music combinations. Classes will be designed to be short, predictable, and routine-based (approximately 25–30 minutes) with parents or caregivers actively involved, emphasizing safety, connection, and joy.
Ideal candidates:
Experience with infants and toddlers (0–3), in group classes, childcare, or parent‑and‑me settings
Background in early childhood education, music, dance/movement, yoga, child development, or related fields
Comfortable leading classes that include both children and caregivers, and capable of creating a calm yet playful atmosphere
Able to plan simple, structured sessions with repetition, songs, and sensory exploration appropriate for very young children
Reliable, professional, and aligned with our mission of culturally responsive and inclusive programming
