Membership Associate

Maxwell is looking for a experienced and extroverted membership who wants to help build out membership in our social club in Tribeca.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment: Attend events at Maxwell and meet prospective new members, help coordinate their interviews, make introductions and figure out if potential new members are a good fit.

2. Hosting: Host recruitment events, act as a host at existing members events, introduce members to each other and be the point person for potential new member requests.

3. Planning: Plan member events at Maxwell such as dinners, cooking clubs, debate clubs, book clubs, watch parties, larger themed parties, etc.

This position requires being in the space minimum 5 nights a week and cannot be done remote.

What's Maxwell? We're rebuilding our country's fraternal orgs. Organizations like Rotarians, Kiwanis, Italian American Clubs and more used to be tentpoles of our local communities, but now do not appeal to anyone under 60. Maxwell is building a vertically integrated community hospitality company to build and operate 1,000 social clubs in the next 20 years.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extrovert who doesn't mind being in the space 5 nights a week.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple events simultaneously.
  • A strategic anlytical mind to be able to manage lots of relationships at the same time.
  • High emotional intelligence and social grace.
