Social Media & Content Creation Intern
Position Summary
Internera is seeking a creative, organized, and motivated Social Media & Content Creation Intern to support marketing efforts across multiple client accounts and internal projects. This internship is ideal for students interested in social media, digital marketing, branding, communications, content creation, or agency-style work. Interns will gain hands-on experience developing content, supporting campaigns, promoting events, and contributing to real marketing initiatives across a variety of businesses and industries. You will work closely with leadership, marketing team members, and clients to help create engaging content and maintain strong brand presence across platforms.
What You’ll Do
• Create and publish content across social media platforms including Instagram and Facebook
• Capture photo and video content for reels, stories, and promotional campaigns
• Support marketing initiatives for multiple client accounts and internal brands
• Assist with content planning, scheduling, and campaign execution
• Help maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity across accounts
• Monitor engagement and identify trends or opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with leadership and team members on creative ideas and marketing strategy
• Assist with event promotion, community engagement, and cross-promotional opportunities when
applicable
• Track content performance and provide observations on engagement and growth
What We’re Looking For
• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, Graphic Design,
Business, or a related field
• Interest in social media, digital marketing, branding, content creation, or agency work
• Familiarity with Instagram and Facebook, including reels, stories, and business tools
• Strong written communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable creating content using a smartphone and basic editing tools
• Experience with Canva, CapCut, Meta Business Suite, or similar platforms is helpful but not required
• Able to manage deadlines and work independently while receiving mentorship and support
• Comfortable adapting to different client brands, audiences, and project needs

Position Details
Schedule: Part-Time (Approx. 10 hours/week)
Compensation: $12 per hour
Expected Start Date: Flexible
