Weekly YouTube Creator

Summary

I need someone to help build my YouTube channel on a weekly basis as I create content. The role involves creating engaging content, managing the channel, and implementing strategies to increase viewership and engagement. The ideal candidate should have experience in YouTube development and marketing, with a focus on organic growth.
WEEKLY YOUTUBE CONTENT CREATOR — Faith, Business & Kingdom Culture

ABOUT ME

I'm Joshua Weir  a father of 8, portfolio entrepreneur, and writer based in Columbus, Ohio. I operate across several ventures, including a construction company, a fitness club , and a kingdom-of-God ministry movement called 12 Tribes. I also write regularly on Substack on theology, culture, business, and flourishing.

I have a lot to say. I need someone to help me say it consistently on YouTube.

WHAT I NEED

I'm looking for a skilled YouTube content creator to take my raw material — voice notes, Substack articles, sermon transcripts, and video recordings and turn them into polished, published YouTube content every week.

This is an ongoing retainer role, not a one-off project. I want to build a channel that reflects my voice, my values, and my message across three content pillars:

1. FAITH & THEOLOGY — The gospel of the kingdom, virtue, repentance, church reformation, and cultural renewal. Thinkers I draw on include Tom Holland, Dallas Willard, G.K. Chesterton, and Abraham Kuyper.

2. BUSINESS & ENTREPRENEURSHIP — Faith-integrated business, portfolio entrepreneurship, real estate investing, construction, and gym ownership. Practical and philosophical.

3. LIFE & CULTURE — Longevity, family, fitness, and what it means to live a good and glorious life in the 21st century.

WEEKLY DELIVERABLES

We will meet for 15-30 minutes every week to review content and discuss stratgey

Each week you will be responsible for:

• 1 fully edited YouTube video (long-form, 10–20 min, or short-form, under 60 sec Shorts — we'll decide format together)
• Custom thumbnail (navy/gold brand palette, clean and bold typography)
• SEO-optimized title, description, and tags
• 3–5 short-form clips cut from the main video for YouTube Shorts and/or social media
• direct upload to my YouTube channel

Optional (nice to have): Chapter markers, closed captions/subtitles, pinned comment drafted

WHAT YOU'LL RECEIVE FROM ME

• Raw video recordings, voice memos, or audio transcripts each week
• Written content from my Substack (published articles and drafts)
• Brand guidelines (navy and gold color palette, Georgia font for theological content)
• Clear direction on the week's topic and angle
• Fast feedback and approvals (I move quickly)

IDEAL CANDIDATE

You are:

✅ An experienced YouTube editor and content strategist — not just a video editor
✅ Strong at thumbnails that stop the scroll (not generic stock photo overlays)
✅ Familiar with faith-based, business, or thought-leader content
✅ Able to maintain a consistent voice and style week over week
✅ Comfortable working with raw, unscripted material and making it compelling
✅ Knowledgeable about YouTube SEO, the algorithm, and what drives watch time

Bonus points if you:
• Have built or grown a YouTube channel before (share the channel)
• Have experience with faith, theology, or kingdom-culture content
• Can also assist with channel strategy and growth

NOT A FIT IF:

❌ You've never edited a YouTube video longer than 5 minutes
❌ Your thumbnails look like default Canva templates
❌ You need heavy hand-holding on every deliverable
❌ You can't commit to weekly deadlines

TO APPLY

Please include the following in your proposal — applications without these will not be reviewed:

1. Links to 3 YouTube channels or videos you have edited or produced (ideally thought-leader, faith, or business content)
2. 1–2 thumbnail samples you have created
3. A brief paragraph on how you would approach building a YouTube presence for someone in my space
4. Your weekly rate or monthly retainer proposal
5. Your typical turnaround time from receiving raw footage to upload-ready

I'm not looking for the cheapest option. I'm looking for the right person who can grow with this role.

This role starts immediately for the right candidate. I look forward to building something significant together.
