Location: Anderson, SC
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift with OT as required

Advanced Labelworx is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician II to support the operation, reliability, and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment and facility systems at our production facilities.

This position is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing production equipment, performing preventive maintenance, coordinating outside service providers, and helping ensure equipment uptime across our operations.

The ideal candidate enjoys solving mechanical problems, working independently, and taking ownership of equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance & Repair

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical issues on manufacturing equipment
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime
  • Troubleshoot gear-driven, servo-driven, and web-handling equipment
  • Repair or replace motors, bearings, couplings, sensors, pneumatic components, drives, and related systems
  • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvements
  • Maintain maintenance records and repair documentation

Preventive Maintenance

  • Execute scheduled preventive maintenance activities
  • Develop and improve preventive maintenance procedures
  • Maintain lubrication, inspection, calibration, and replacement schedules
  • Identify equipment reliability concerns before failures occur
  • Support spare parts inventory management

Vendor & Contractor Management

  • Coordinate service providers, contractors, and equipment vendors
  • Schedule and oversee outside maintenance activities
  • Obtain quotations and assist with repair and maintenance purchasing
  • Track service performance and follow up on open issues
  • Support warranty claims and vendor communications

Facility Support

  • Assist with maintenance of building systems including HVAC, compressed air, electrical distribution, lighting, and general facility infrastructure
  • Support safety initiatives and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Participate in facility improvement projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Technical, vocational, or trade school education preferred
  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred
  • Experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical manuals
  • Experience with servo systems, motors, sensors, VFDs, and industrial controls preferred
  • Welding, fabrication, machining, or electrical troubleshooting experience is a plus
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills

Physical Requirements

  • Lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Work around operating industrial equipment
  • Climb ladders and access elevated equipment when necessary
  • Stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the workday
  • Safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
