Production Intern

Location: Long Island City, NY

 

Paid / Unpaid: Paid

 

Hour per week: 40 hours (or at least 24 hours per week)

 

Duration: 3-6 months

 

Role Overview: Contemporary womenswear brand Generation Love is seeking a full/part-time paid production intern. Intern will work with our production team to see all stages involved from pre-production into production.

 

Qualifications

•Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel

•Knowledge of garment construction and fundamental understanding of spec measurements

•Strong attention to detail

•Knowledge of fabric and understanding of basic applications

•Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills

•Ability to work well under pressure

•Positive attitude

 

Responsibilities

•Intern will work with our production team to see all stages involved from pre-production into production

•Working directly with production team on various hands-on projects including sourcing fabrics and trims

•Expect a wide range of tasks from organizing binders to communicating with oversea factories

•Organize samples & Manage samples logistics for photoshoot

•Keep samples clean / tagged
