Advanced Labelworx is seeking a mechanically inclined individual who wants to learn a specialized print industry trade. No printing experience is required. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, troubleshooting equipment, and taking pride in producing quality work.
This position offers a structured training path with opportunities for advancement.
What You'll Learn
- Operation of flexographic printing presses and print support equipment
- Setup and adjustment of printing equipment
- Reading job specifications and production instructions
- Color matching and print quality control
- Troubleshooting mechanical and production issues
- Preventive maintenance and equipment care
- Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices
What Makes Someone Successful in This Role?
We are less concerned with printing experience and more interested in mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
Strong candidates often have experience or interests such as:
- Automotive repair or maintenance
- Motorcycle, ATV, or small engine work
- Welding or fabrication
- HVAC, electrical, or industrial maintenance
- Construction trades
- Farming or agricultural equipment
- Mechanical hobbies and restoration projects
- Robotics, machining, or technical competitions
- Military mechanical or technical experience
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of vocational, technical, or trade school education preferred
- Ability to use measuring tools and basic hand tools
- Mechanical troubleshooting ability
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow written procedures and quality standards
- Stable work history and dependable attendance
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Work safely around industrial equipment
- Distinguish colors and visual print defects
