About the Role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Support Technician to assist with day-to-day manufacturing, laboratory, and facility operations. This is a hands-on position supporting equipment, materials, inventory, production activities, testing, and general operational needs across multiple projects.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands, staying organized, and contributing to a fast-paced technical environment. Responsibilities will vary from supporting manufacturing equipment and material preparation to maintaining workspaces, handling incoming and outgoing shipments, managing inventory, and assisting engineers with production and testing activities.

This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and wants exposure to advanced manufacturing technologies while developing valuable technical skills. Additional responsibility and advancement opportunities may be available over time based on performance, experience, and company needs.

What You'll Do

  • Support daily manufacturing, laboratory, and operational activities
  • Prepare materials, tools, fixtures, and equipment for manufacturing and testing
  • Assist with setup, operation, monitoring, and routine maintenance of manufacturing equipment
  • Perform material handling, packaging, labeling, and inventory-related activities
  • Support receiving, storage, and shipment of materials, components, and equipment
  • Assist with post-processing, inspection, sample preparation, and testing activities
  • Maintain organized work areas, laboratories, and manufacturing spaces
  • Track inventory levels and help maintain material and consumable supplies
  • Collect and document production, testing, and operational data
  • Follow work instructions, procedures, and safety requirements
  • Assist engineers and technical staff with project execution and day-to-day operational needs
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe, efficient, and professional work environment

What We're Looking For

Required

  • High school diploma, GED, technical certification, military technical training, or equivalent experience
  • 1–5 years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, production, laboratory, machine shop, or industrial environment
  • Comfortable performing hands-on work throughout the day
  • Ability to safely lift and move materials and equipment as required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow written procedures and maintain accurate records
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred

  • Experience in manufacturing, machining, additive manufacturing, or technical operations
  • Experience operating industrial equipment, machine tools, or production machinery
  • Familiarity with inventory systems, shipping and receiving processes, or warehouse operations
  • Experience using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, or gauges
  • Basic understanding of engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Forklift certification or experience (not required)

Compensation

  • Hourly rate: $20–$35 per hour, depending on experience
  • Equivalent annual compensation of approximately $40,000–$70,000
