Essential Functions & Responsibilities

As a Technical Services Driver, you will play a hands-on role in the safe transport and handling of hazardous waste materials across multiple customer sites. This is not a sit-behind-the-wheel role — our drivers are active contributors to each job from start to finish, including loading and unloading, container labeling, waste sorting, and completion of regulatory paperwork.
Pay: Pay for this role starts at $34/hour, CDL drivers with experience can earn more depending on experience.
Schedule & Travel
Guaranteed 40 hours per week; overtime is required
Overnight travel expected approximately 2 times per month (1–2 nights per trip)
A Day in the Life
While no two days are exactly the same, a typical day may look like this:
Arrive at the office and collect job paperwork
Offload truck from the previous day, if applicable
Load required supplies and equipment for the day's jobs
Drive to 2–5 customer sites throughout the day
Label drums, sort waste streams, and complete hazardous waste manifests at each stop
Load drums onto the truck and proceed to the next customer
Return to the office at end of day
Submit completed paperwork and assist with unloading the truck
Key Responsibilities
Operate semi-vans, roll-off trailers, and dump trailers safely and in compliance with DOT regulations
Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement
Accurately label containers and complete all required hazardous waste documentation
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
Communicate professionally with customers at each stop
Adhere to all safety, environmental, and compliance standards
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
Experience
Minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience
Valid CDL Class A license
Hazmat endorsement required
